Kannada Language has been recognized as the classical Language by the Central Governament. For this purpose, the State Government had submitted this valuable report to the Central Government prepared by the subject experts under the leadership of the eminent scholars of the state, like Dr. M. Chidananda Murthy and Prof. L.S Sheshagirirao to convince the Government as to why classical status had to be given to the ಕನ್ನಡ language.
